What We Do

CJCEMA provides planning, training, and response in the event of a large-scale emergency such as a tornado, ice storm, or hazardous materials release resulting in a mass evacuation.

Who We Are

CJCEMA is made up of an Emergency Management Director, a full-time Assistant Emergency Management Director and coordinators representing each of the four protected jurisdictions.

Additionally, CJCEMA supports and involves community partners like the Blue Springs and Grain Valley School Districts, St Mary’s Hospital, and the local law enforcement agencies.
