Accepted Methods of Payment

Central Jackson County FPD accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa, as well as checks and money orders. Credit card payments or payments by electronic check may be made online.

Payment Plans

Central Jackson County FPD will establish payment plans for your account(s) if you are unable to pay the balance(s) in full, in one payment. Please contact our third-party billing company for specific information on the terms and conditions of payment plans, to discuss other available payment options or to update insurance information.

Accessing Medical Records

To speak with someone about the release of your information, please call 816-229-2522.  Requests for records may take up to 30 business days to fulfill.

Patient Requests

Because medical records are confidential, Central Jackson County FPD requires your written permission for the release of information, except in those situations specified by law. Please complete the Release of Information Form and either fax to 816-463-7095 or mail/deliver to:

Attorney Requests

The following details are intended for attorneys, law firms, and record retrieval companies requiring access to records essential for accident or injury claims related to ambulance transport:

  • Requests for billing records are available through ChartSwap.
  • Requests for medical records may be submitted via fax or mail to the address specified in the patient requests section.

 

Financial Assistance

If you are unable to pay your medical bills because you are uninsured or under-insured, you may qualify for financial assistance under our financial assistance program.  Click here for the Financial Hardship Application.  If you have any questions or need further assistance with the completion of the application, contact the Central Jackson County FPD Billing Analyst at (816) 229-2522, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.  Please mail or deliver the completed Financial Hardship Application to:
