Why take the Course?
Help save a life by knowing how to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help the person until more advanced care arrives to take over.
Who should take the course?
Heartsaver courses are intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for the jog, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. The course can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
The Course Covers:
- Adult CPR and AED Use
- Opioid-associated Life-threatening Emergencies
- Adult Choking
- Child CPR and AED Use
- Child Choking
- Infant CPR
- Infant Choking
Courses help people learn the skills and develop the confidence to provide CPR, we provide group interaction, hands-on coaching, and feedback from an AHA instructor.
Fee: $30.00 The course is offered the 2nd Saturday of each month (5 student minimum) and by appointment for large groups of 20 or more. First Aid Courses are available for additional fee of $10.00.
