Applications are being taken until May 9th, 2025, at 1600 for the Paramedic Lead Instructor Position with the Central Jackson County FPD. The Paramedic Program Lead Instructor will directly support the Director and Assistant Director of EMS Education in duties related to the daily operations of the District’s paramedic program. They will serve as the primary instructor for the paramedic program. The Paramedic Lead Instructor will have primary responsibility for lesson development and delivery for the District paramedic program. In addition, support division staff in the presentation of additional EMS programs. CJCFPD is a great place to grow your career. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience as an active paramedic or RN licensure with pre-hospital experience.
· Minimum of an associate degree, bachelor’s degree preferred
· Previous EMS Educational experience/Preceptor Experience
· Ability to present on numerous EMS topics at an advanced practice level
· Proficient computer knowledge and skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· 40-hour EMS Instructor Certificate within 6 months of hire
· Instructor certification in ACLS, AMLS, PHTLS, EPC, BLS, and PALS
