Professional Training

The Central Jackson County Fire Protection District has created a state of the art training facility.

Our facility includes a live burn building used for things such as search and rescue, rappelling, and live fire training experiences. There is an obstacle course firefighters can use to practice skills needed if trapped or disoriented and an area for new firefighters to complete the CPAT (Certified Physical Agility Testing).

Certified EMS Training

The CJC Emergency Medical training division offers certified training for emergency medical technicians and paramedics and provides other EMS related programs such as Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC). All classes provide the skills and knowledge needed to challenge agency, state, or national testing.
