Deputy Chief Chlapek testifies in Washington D.C.

Recently, CJC Deputy Chief Ben Chlapek testified to a congressional committee in an effort to help states correct roadblocks in Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic licensure processes. Military emergency medical personnel receive advanced training and experience that most states don't recognize for their licensure guidelines. The committee is hearing and evaluating testimony on H.R. 4124, the Veteran Emergency Medical Technician Support Act of 2012, to address these roadblocks.
