The staff of CJCFPD Fire Prevention Bureau shares responsibility for reviewing plans on all new residential and commercial construction in our  jurisdiction.  Once construction starts CJCFPD inspects all aspects of the construction process in unincorporated Jackson County and we perform a final occupancy inspection inside the cities of Blue Springs, Lake Tapawingo, and Grain Valley for all commercial structures.
